Megan Hope - Cumbria

When 15 year old Megan’s friend was violently attacked by two drunken youths in June 2008 she threw herself across his prone body to shield him from further injury taking the barrage of blows and kicks herself. Her brave actions prevented her friend from receiving serious injury.
