Silver Danny Monk had no hesitation in coming to the aid of a man being kicked and stamped on by a group of men in December 2005, despite being threatened, heavily outnumbered and surrounded. He stood his ground and saved the victim from further punishment, who sadly died just a few weeks later from his injuries.
